I believe the property i'm renting is in bad condition and extremely dangerous. What can I do about it?
ANSWER 1:
Get in touch with the housing officer at the local authority environmental health department and ask them to carry out a housing health and safety rating survey. If they find any "category 1" hazards on doing the survey they will serve an improvement notice on the landlord ordering him to bring put the property into a safe condition.
