The Bitch (My Tenant) Received Her Eviction Notice- She’s Not HappyCategory: Property Diary- Project 1- Become A Landlord |
Ok, so this is what has happened so far. My tenant owed me £775 on the 15th of June. After weeks of chasing, she finally made payment on the 13th of July. By the time she paid the previous month’s rent, her next payment was due in 2 days time. So on the 15th of July, she owed me another £775. I explained in my previous blog entry that I didn’t expect her to pay it. So on the 17th I text her saying, “Hey Bitch [insert tenant name], rent was due on Monday, do you know when you’ll pay it?”
She replied with, “I paid you £775 2 days ago”, my response was, “yeah, that was for the PREVIOUS month”, I wanted to finish the text off with, “YOU IDIOT”
Then she asked if I could use the security deposit as a form of rent. I told her “HELL NO”, that deposit is for my own protection, and will be given back to you after the contract is over, and no sooner. She never replied to that. SUPRISE, SURPRISE!
God, what a dumbass. The security deposit is not a savings account for my tenant, which she can dip her filthy little claws into whenever she wants. Obviously I’m not
surprised
by her
audacity or stupidityI’m not surprised by her audacity or stupidity. IN fact, as outrageous as her request was, it was rather fitting.
To be honest, the chances of me receiving this month’s rent are pretty much non-existent and that doesn’t really phase me, because the wheels are in motion for evicting her, and I’ll claim back every penny through my insurance company.
Right, so here comes the funny part (well, funny to me)…
I shouldn’t laugh, but I’m starting to see the humorous side in all this now, primarily because witnessing stupidly is entertaining. Yesterday my tenant got her eviction notice through the post. She got a section 8, which is basically a legal notification giving her 14 days to respond. Once the Section 8 notice has expired and if she has not paid the due rent or moved out of my property, I can apply for a hearing at a County Court.
She called me up yesterday morning, sounding all shocked and whimpering, “I got an eviction notice”, I said, “yeah, I discussed it with my letting agent”….I heard a slight “URGH”, and then she hung up! haha. The woman just doesn’t help herself. Running away from the issue is pointless; hanging up the phone isn’t going to help her course. I don’t know what she expects, and the Lord only knows why she sounded so surprised/annoyed by all this. It’s like when criminals get caught, they act upset. WHY?
She’s not paying her rent in time, she’s
lying, and
she’s been constantly
avoiding meShe’s not paying her rent in time, she’s lying, and she’s been constantly avoiding me. WHAT DOES SHE EXPECT?
As soon as she hung up I called my letting agent and explained what happened. We had a good chuckle and basically spent a good 10mins ridiculing her. He was the one that housed her in my property, which basically makes her his client. By all right, i should kick his fucking ass for setting me up with that hideous excuse for a tenant, but hey…I’m a lover, and he’s a nice guy. He wasn’t to know that she was the spawn of Satan and gets off on committing benefit fraud (explained in my previous entry).
Right, so I have just less than 14 days to wait in order to determine what my next actions will be.
If she doesn’t vacate my property, then so be it. I have no qualms with taking her to court and watching her BURN IN HELL!
Does anyone think i’m being too harsh? Should I be more compassionate and understanding? Bear in mind she’s on social benefits, and gets a monthly allowance to pay her rent. But in my opinion, that’s not even the point, you can’t just stay in someone else’s property and refuse to pay rent. Actually, she’s not even refusing to pay rent, she just doesn’t pay rent until she feels like it.

You fuckin crack me up son, send her to hell just make sure the next one has a shinny halo on eh !. We dont take out mortgages for these people to piss over us, NOW pay the rent and get that needle out ya arm
OK. Let me explain. If you steal something from TESCO, you get caught and you are jailed. Police action is taken. Theft is a CRIMINAL offence.
So if your tennat is not paying her rent, basically she is stealing from you and should be considered a criminal offence in my opinion.
I have been a tenant before and still am a tenant(commercial) so I can see the picture from both sides.
I think the law needs to be changed!
What’s this? Are we slacking in our blogging suties? What’s going on? C’mon, son
Let’s have some news.
ooops… that was meant to say, clearly, duties, and not, suties, because, come to think of it, suties doesn’t even exist, so why would I write a word that doesn’t exist? Unless I were the creative type, and thought, hey, hang on, let’s just invent a word a slot it right in here, he’ll know what I mean anyway.
Ha, know what’s funny?
I thought to myself, “shit, is my son that advanced at English that she’s using words that I didn’t even know existed?”
I was about to look in the dictionary! I shit you not!
There isn’t much else to report on this eviction saga to be honest. I haven’t spoke to my tenant since, and she has another week to break her silence.
Additionally, i haven’t been blogging about other property issues because I’ve been busy designing a new site during the limited spare time I have. This place should look completely different if all goes according to plan. Although, 2 weeks ago I spent a week designing a new site, and right before it was meant to go live, I had a change of heart and decided the design was shit. So back to the drawing board…
How are things with you, son? Any gos for me?
Jeezaz! You’re too nice for that thick-faced tenant!
And that B*tch seems to know that fact already… tsk..
I warned you about those deadbeat dumbass benefit leeching tenants a long time ago but you obviously didn’t listen. Now you see why they should be avoided?? I hope you’ve learned your lesson son because the next one could be far worse.
Chris,
Why can you never support me?
I told you, even people on benefits can be GOOD tenants, just as easily as 9-5 young professionals. I picked a rotton apple this time, and it’s been a good experience, because now I know what process I need to go through in order to evict scum!!
God, SUPPORT ME!
Yeah keep up the good work, you’re making me proud. If your tenant needs to be thrown out on the street you should go and watch, maybe even film it for the website as it could be a good lesson to other potential deadbeats out there.
Shit, haha, I actually should video it and make a blog about it! That is the ultimate linkbait!!!!
I’m going to send you that CD tonight. Sorry for the delay.
Cold Fusion for life.
