I think this is it!
I honestly believe this might be the best deal I’ve ever managed to wangle for you, so I’m a little giddy.
Here’s an absolutely Free Tenant-Find service from the Online Letting Agent Hello-Neighbour, which includes:
- 3 months marketing
- Rightmove listing (First 7 days includes featured listing)
- Zoopla listing
- OnTheMarket listing
No-strings attached!
OpenRent, step to one side, little bro.
There’s no question about it, there is currently no better deal on the market for this kind of service.
Full transparency: I haven’t given Hello-Neighbour’s online letting services a spin yet! However, it’s on the cards – I’m expecting a vacancy in the coming months (after which, this post will go through a major overhaul, as I’ll be sharing my experience in depth)!
In the meantime, I’m itching to share the exclusive discount Hello-Neighbour have tossed my way (which I negotiated with them in order to become an affiliate partner – go me!), unlocking their standard tenant-find package for absolutely FREE! Enjoy!
Hello-Neighbour Service Overview
While I’m reserving my best efforts for when I inevitably update this post after I’ve given their service a joy rode, I think a quick overview might be beneficial.
- Hello-Neighbour is a highly cost-effective online letting agent (think OpenRent). Their tenant-find services start from as little as £29 (excluding any discounts or promotions).
- Hello-Neighbour offers both tenant-find and fully managed packages, but in my view, the real appeal lies in their tenant-find options.
- Their core tenant-find service helps landlords get their rental properties listed on three of the UK’s biggest property portals – Rightmove, Zoopla, and OnTheMarket – to help generate enquiries from prospective tenants.
- Hello-Neighbour provides a fully online marketing and lead generation service. It’s designed for self-managing landlords, rather than those who require in-person support from an agent.
- Hello-Neighbour is relatively new, but they’re growing fast, with over 600 reviews on Trustpilot and an impressive rating of 4.6 / 5.

Yup, their basic “Get Listed” package gets whittled down to a freebie with the use of the discount code, which includes free Rightmove, Zoopla & Zoopla listings for 3 months.
And yup, the code also knocks 50% off their ‘Get Rented’ package – you’ll have to part with some cash for that one, but it’s still peanuts for what you get.
I don’t know how long these offers will be around, but they always eventually get pulled, as these types of loss-leader promotions generally aren’t sustainable. So grab the offer while you can!
Hello-Neighbour Vs OpenRent
OpenRent, the current market leader by a long stretch, had a super impressive run of offering dirt-cheap tenant-find services, which I’ve always suspected to be loss-leader products.
While their packages are still “cheap” in relative terms, they definitely ain’t what they used to be. But fair play to them, they kept them on the shelves for significantly longer than I ever expected they would – over a decade.
However, it seems they’ve recently had a rethink and shifted direction, because the current state of their packages is unrecognisable from what they used to be. I suspect they succumbed to the realities of inflation and realised that the too-good-to-be-true offers really do have an expiration date, and they ain’t particularly good business (but in all honesty, where they’ve ended up doesn’t seem like good business either!).
I think I might need to get this off my shaggy chest: what the hell has happened to OpenRent? Has anyone else noticed their descent into the earth’s core?
Over the past few years, I’ve watched – in absolute horror – as they’ve stripped away features from their core packages while simultaneously increasing prices. It’s been ugly viewing, especially because I’ve always been a rampant fan of theirs since their inception.
If you compare Hello-Neighbours packages with the state of OpenRent’s packages today, it really isn’t even close (even without applying the discount code):

It’s actually difficult for me to even accept that OpenRent now charge £50 extra for a Rightmove listing, and have completely binned Zoopla to replace it with OnTheMarket.
I mean, what the actual fuck?
That screams to me, “We need to reduce our overheads, but at the same time, we need to remain in the low-cost territory!”
That’s fine, but only including OnTheMarket & PrimeLocation listings as standard, really?
Don’t get me wrong, OpenRent is still a fantastic service – I’m still a fan, and I’m still their affiliate partner, and I’m happily promote them – and I have no doubt that either of their packages (but only after coughing-up £50 extra for the Rightmove listing) will work wonders. But I find the direction they have taken to be plain bizarre, because now their packages are objectively nowhere near as competitive as they used to be, which has resulted in other online letting agents offering options that provide a whole lot more bang for your buck.
At this moment in time, if anyone asks, I can no longer say that OpenRent is the most appealing choice, because it’s not (and I didn’t think I’d ever say that) – it’s clearly Hello-Neighbour.
Right, anywho, I’m done talking-up Hello-Neighbour like a used car salesman!
