What is a “Rightmove Premium” listing & is eSale UK’s promo anything to get excited about?

So, while eSale UK are currently offering a free listing upgrade on Rightmove, and while that sounds wonderful, you may not even know exactly what it is, and if it’s even an offer to get excited about.

I’ve already written an in-depth blog post on Rightmove Premium and Featured Listings, which goes into all the details and more. But for the purpose of keeping it simple, all you really need to know is that a Premium listing is a highlighted listing which is more prominent than standard Rightmove listings. So, in practice, the premium listing will be highlighted in a different colour (green) from the regular listings, and also 3 photos of the property are displayed rather than the standard one.

Obviously the idea is that the Premium Listings generate more attention, and therefore more enquiries. I’ve read quite a varying stats on the effectiveness of Rightmove Premium Listings, and then general consensus is that they generate 30% more interest (compared to regular listings)!

So, is the free Rightmove upgrade eSale UK are currently offering a good deal? I believe so!

However, for the purpose of catering to all parties, including those that are at the early stages of doing their research into Online Estate Agents, and in search of a little more information about eSale UK specifically, I think it would only be useful to drop a little knowledge…

At the time of writing this blog post (and sharing the discount code), eSale are the highest rated Online Estate Agent. They score an impressive 4.9 / 5 on TrustPilot. Clearly they must be doing something right. So if customer feedback and performance is on top of your priority list, you can put a check next to ‘positive reviews’

I’ve personally never used eSale UK’s property selling services, so unfortunately I can’t share any personal experiences with their actual service. However, what I can say is that, when compared to the other major players in the market (e.g. Purplebricks, Strike (formerly Housesimple), YOPA), they are extremely competitively priced. So if your objective is to use an online estate agent to sell your property by listing your property on Rightmove and Zoopla (two of the biggest UK property portals), I can’t think of a good reason to discourage you from considering eSale UK as a sensible option.
