Project 2- Reducing My Mortgage
I’m proud of this category because it contains the blog posts to my second documented property investment project. I go through every step I took to raise 15k, carrying with me the intentions of buying another buy-to-let investment.
However, due to the uncertain condition of the property market and the lack of desirable properties available during the time, I ended up investing the money in reducing my interest-only mortgage and converting it into a repayment mortgage. It’s the best decision I ever made.

23 Oct 2007 / Project 2- Reducing My Mortgage / 2 Comments
I Raised My 15k (Plus More) to complete my “15k project” a while ago, 10th September to be precise, but as already mentioned, I’ve been unsure about what to do with the funds. I wasn’t sure whether to invest more money into another property, or do as initially planned, which was to use that 15k to [...]

I Got A Part-Time Job

I Just Sold The Love Of My Life
01 Jun 2007 / Project 2- Reducing My Mortgage / 2 Comments
I’m feeling quite unsettled right now; I just had to part from the love of my life (Peugeot 206 1.4 GLX). It’s not uncommon for people to get attached to their first car; the sentimental relationship is sometimes unavoidable, unless it’s a complete piece of shit. However, my car was a little beauty, consequently I’m [...]

So, its been just over 7 days since I put up random pieces of crap for auction on Ebay, in attempt to raise money for My New Property Investment Project. I predicted I would raise close to a few hundred pounds from Selling Shit On Ebay; of course, I thought I was being heavily optimistic. Results: [...]
Online Affiliate Marketing Earnings
04 May 2007 / Project 2- Reducing My Mortgage / 0 Comments
I received a few cheques through the post today from various affiliate schemes I signed up for. For those unaware, an online affiliate is basically someone that advertises for marketing agencies, and gets paid on commission for every successful conversion. Exciting, huh? I don’t do much online advertising these days (not that I did much [...]

28 Apr 2007 / Project 2- Reducing My Mortgage / 0 Comments
I know the traditional expression is, “counting the pennies”, but I’m not about to go around my house and/or the streets hunting for every penny in my reach. However, like most people, I do have a pot of change that has been the disposal vessel for all the loose coins that has accumulated in my [...]

I initially started this website because I wanted to document my every step from property idiot to property landlord,
in hope that people would find my site and help me along the way. I literally didn't have a clue about being a landlord
when I started this website.
