The Greedy Landlord And The Piss-Taking Tenant
13 Oct 2007During my day-dreaming phases at work I often start doodling if there’s a pen and paper around. Usually it’s hard to make sense of my scribbles; more often than not i’m sketching random shapes and write random names (names of people i’m thinking about).
Once i’m out of day-dream state, and consciously look at the results of my labour, i’m usully quite freaked out by what i’ve drawn. Fortunately, i’ve yet to draw pictures of human limbs and detached body parts, so if I am sending myself subliminal messages, at least I know it’s on the right side of the law.
The other day, I subconsciously drew a property-related sketch. I think I had just been reading property related articles on the BBC website before I shut down and went into day-dream mode. I’ve scanned the sketches and neatened them up abit using Adobe Photoshop (photo editor). I’m not the best artist in the world; but it’s the messages that are key, I guess.
Just to clarify, I don’t think they’re particularly funny; but they do provide a light smile. I’ll probably sketch more stuff like this and post them, especially on Monday mornings and Friday afternoons (peak time for my day-dreaming time).

If you’ve got any property-related sketches, let me know. I’d love to see/display them- of course, i’ll give the artist full credit. Also, I know the catch-phrases aren’t the best, so if you can think of something more appropriate and humourous, please let me know.

I initially started this website because I wanted to document my every step from property idiot to property landlord,
in hope that people would find my site and help me along the way. I literally didn't have a clue about being a landlord
when I started this website.
