SEXY Property History Lesson

(note: sorry, since youtube limits video dimensions, some of the writing is unclear- i’ve writen all the featured facts below)

Seedy, tacky, not very informative, yet highly watch’able, right?

For those that didn’t manage to look beyond the naked lady, here are the property facts that were shown in the clip:

1981- the last property crash
1996- property boom begins
2001- most expensive house in the Uk was purchased by the Prince of Dubai
2003- UK base rate was 3.5%, a 48yr low
2005- 60k houses were worth more than Â£1million in England and wales. There were only 5k in 1995
2006- 17,000 homes were repossessed
2007- UK homes now worth more than 3.8 trillion

I put that little video together with the help of a very attractive friend of mine, as you can all see. Many thanks to her! I didn’t think she would ever cave in and agree to the production.

This is just a beta version; it was literally a rush job, and it took approximately 20mins to shoot, and 30mins to edit. I plan on ‘attempting’ to make much more professional and informative versions in the near future.

Let me clarify, I’m no expert when it comes to directing, producing, shooting or even video editing, so this was all kind of a new thing for me. I think that’s all extremely evident since it looks cheap and unprofessional. Apologies for the schoolboy’ish handwriting- body art is definitely not my forte.

My influence for this video came from a very similar video I saw on shoemoney’s blog. After having watched the video for the 6th time and cleaned my keyboard/monitor, I started to read the facts and learned a few things about the online porn industry. Useless facts, granted. However, I was inspired, and I thought to myself, “I wonder how difficult it would be to put something like that together?”

It turns out that it’s extremely difficult to make something like that with quality, especially if you have no directing/video-editing experience whatsoever.

Maybe there is a future for amatuers like me in the porn industry. Fuck property.

Improvements I’ll make on version 2:
- improve hand writing
- less naked woman, more facts. I think over did it on the “sexy lady” part, kind of diluting from the point of the video (to learn some property facts, believe it or not)
- better camera angles
- a more professional edit
