Advertise Your House For Sale For Free On Tepilo

Amongst the thrilling world of Property, there’s been a lot of nattering about a new website called Tepilo. Apparently it’s a brand new service that will change the way you think about buying and selling your home.

Why all the hoo-ha? Well, for three primary reasons. Firstly, it’s a free service for private sellers. We all like free shit, right? Right. The second reason accounts for two HUGE points, because it’s created by Sarah Beeny (I hope you can all see what I did there), so it’s bound to get a lot of publicity.

Essentially, Teplio is a platform that will allow people to take control of buying and selling their own home. It’s like Rightmove, only for private sellers (not estate agents) and it’s free. It’s still at its early stages, so it won’t attract masses of traffic just yet, but it sounds like a semi-erection that’s wants/needs to blossom and squirt.

According to Tepilo, these are the key benefits of using the website:

  • There are no agent fees to pay
  • The site is completely FREE to use and puts you in control of how you sell your home
  • The site depersonalises the negotiation process
  • Innovative new functionality enables you to provide the ultimate overview of your home and gives buyers the best chance of finding the “right” property
  • Helpful tips and advice guide you through the sales process

It all sounds rather swell, and with a pair of huge breasts leading the campaign, I can’t see any reason for failure.

Got a property to sell? Try it out; you’ve got nothing to lose. The worst that can happen is that you save a few thousand pounds on commission. I wouldn’t suggest completely abandoning the traditional local estate agent, because you unfortunately, there’s still nothing quite as powerful as a local estate agent when it comes to shifting the goods. But if it were me, I would run both campaigns simultaneously. Whoever wins, wins.

I think this is a great service, and the website looks very professional - as good, if not better, than many pay-for sites.

I found this site a while back and got a few phone calls from them. Also free: http://www.laystar.co.uk.

Once you have your sales copy all sorted, I think it pays to find these freebie sites and get your details entered. Just remember where you have been so you don't get calls after you have sold :-)

Also London's landlords and tenants check out Agent Slayer www.agentslayer.co.uk, we can't promise a pair of huge breasts, but we do offer a FREE glossy platform to advertise your property like a top agent with maps, photos, videos, streetviews, PDFs, floorplans etc etc. All properties are also automatically fed to top portals like Trovit, Oodle, Home.co.uk, Enormo and other sites such as Gumtree again FOR FREE.

Websites such as Tepilo are nothing new, there are many free listing property websites out there: http://www.globrix.com
http://zuperhomes.com
http://www.propertysell.co.uk
http://www.freehouseagent.com

There has certainly been a rise in free property listing websites recently, in the long term estate agents will need to reduce their fees in order to remain competitive.
