Online affiliate marketingCategory: Property Diary- Project 2- Reduce Mortgage |
I received a few cheques through the post today from various affiliate schemes I signed up for. For those unaware, an online affiliate is basically someone that advertises for other companies online, and gets paid on commission for every successful conversion. Exciting, huh? I don’t do much online advertising these days (not that I did much before, but I do even less now), and the little I do, I make extremely little from. These payments were from last month’s earnings; I’ll probably get a lot less this month. But hey, it’s better than a kick in the face. Plus, I never actually did anything to earn this money, I just put up a few banners here and there. I know a lot of successful, and even not-so successful, affiliate markers make thousands and thousands of pounds each month. It’s a great area of business to enter if you have the skills and time. Unfortunately, I have neither.
Anyways, the amount I received wasn’t life changing, far from it, in fact. However, I will happily put it towards my 15k property project, because every little will help.
In total, I made £106.42.
So that moves my grand total up to: £1381.42. Waaaaheeeey!
